Ashley’s style is predictable, which isn’t bad…but I went to that tour as well and thought that her house was a wing right off of Uncle Julio’s main dining room. The other designer’s house was completely the opposite of Ashley’s, which I loved! I hope he won. Also, how much trouble did you get in for taking pix even though there were a zillion "no pix" posters everywhere?

This is a great post Elizabeth. Academia is strangely seductive but a lot of people I know who are in it are disillusioned. Glad you are doing what you want to do. The Wicker Man is such an awesome cult movie BTW
Is it just me, or does that otter look like he’s showing his mates exactly how he felt on the occasion of seeing a comely, bosomy, lady otter? I mean, the paws look like they’re prepared to squeeze otter bosoms and then make a honking noise with his mouth.
